When we’re selected for new projects throughout California, we come as guests into new neighborhoods. We manage our worksites as good neighbors, ensuring public safety, minimizing disruptions, and coordinating with community partners.
Contracting Strategy
Our contracting strategies are one of the most effective tools for Legacy to demonstrate commitment to community collaboration.
We work closely with local Small Business Development Centers, Builders Exchanges, and Chambers of Commerce to partner with Small, DVBE, and WOSB organizations.
Community Engagement
Transparency and proactive engagement help the communities we serve understand our projects, the benefits, and alleviate concerns. We respect that we’re guests in neighborhoods and our processes can sometimes be disruptive.
We design our work to minimize our footprint and our crews are trained to engage with empathy when interacting with local residents and stakeholders.

From working with local fire departments to develop wildfire fire prevention plans to working with local community colleges to create recruitment pipelines, these partnerships are part of the Legacy team.
